It's the grocery store I always go too. They have the best beer selection in oak ridge, plus a decent wine selection too. The bakery/deli has delicious choices along with a hot bar and a salad bar. Groceries are reasonably priced, equivalent to other stores in town. The layout is nice and easy to navigate/find what you need throughout the store. The employees are always helpful and friendly. My favorite part is gas points, they add up quickly and on Wednesdays you can redeem 2 gas visits to safe 30 cents off/gallon which is a really helpful to save money. Even if you don't buy gas there, you can utilize your gas points to save money off your grocery visit. You can also order online and pick up your groceries, curbside with ease and I've never picked up an order that has any mistakes. Those are the main reasons that this is my go to grocery store here in town
Broad selection and friendly service. Thoroughly enjoy shopping here. Use to work there and the same front end manager is still there, really back some good memories shopping there.
Store always is clean and well stocked. Food City has the best fresh meat products in town. My only issue is that usually if an item isn't on sale, it runs a bit more expensive than their closest rival store in our city. The staff is normally nice and helpful with the exception of the deli area in the early evenings. Personally, I've went on around 5-6 pm several times and the associates behind the cooked food products like fried chicken, etc are almost to the point of becoming kind of rude. That's not pleasant and it's happened more than one time. Maybe they've had a bad day but I've worked in the same business and while I truly understand how tiring and hot the job can be, you NEVER show that to the public. My only real issue other than the regular prices being a bit higher.
Very friendly people work here. You get a big grocery store with a small grocery store feel. Items are easy to locate and you can always find someone to help you. It has been newly expanded and it looks great inside. I always enjoy shopping here.
I've shopped here for years they are great. There are some busy hours but mostly just a steady stream of people. Great salad bar and yummy lunches and dinners from the deli..
