I have done alot of work in many different states all over the US. This is the worst home Depot I have ever visited thus far. There are a hand full of good employees here. The majority are extremely lazy. The store is very disorganized and if you ask for help they simply tell you to go find someone else. I have started to make the trip to Lowe's instead of this home Depot that is just down the road.
The Home Depot has great lumber and great prices, not to mention I really appreciate the 10% veteran discount, but I couldn't find anyone to help me find what I was looking for. I had to track someone down. That person was very helpful and helped me find what I was looking for, but the fact that I had to get them.
We waited over an hour to get mulch. After the fork truck died we had to go to the pit to pick up mulch. We ask if we needed to pay qst as it is around near the back of the building. Answer was no. Well after 5 bags were loaded out of 20 they ask me to walk around the building and pay. That's fine except it is 90 degrees and I have already waited an hour to get mulch. The lady's at the register was very nice and did give me a discount. After 2 hours back home from a trip that should of taken 45 min tops
I've never had anything but a positive experience here. The employees are helpful and knowledge in the departments and as a woman that knows nothing about fixing things around the house, it is nice to have an informed employee to help me find an item I have been sent to get. Prices are reasonable. Returning an item with my receipt was quick and easy. Checkout is simple and the store is laid out good with signs for each aisle letting you know what is there. They have a wonderful flower/gardening section and i buy plants there every spring with no problems. They grow beautifully all season. It's a great home improvement store.
Good store. Helpful staff. Only thing I not happy with is they are very strict on coupons, even with the coupons given by home depot. Make sure you take your id all the time if you want to use store credit. Also they sell a lot of things which the inspector said are not supported by code.
