If you have not been here, you want to go and take the entire family.

Great for adults, teens and kids. This place is enjoyment for all members of the family. It's all about learning science and how energy works.

I have been visiting the museum since childhood and now take my own children. If you are a lover of science and history you will be right at home here. This museum is child friendly with plenty of fun scientific activities for even very young children.

There is no shortage of interactive displays. Which show and let you actually experience things about energy and science. There are also movies and an auditorium with a great presentation.

Part of the Manhattan Project NHP. Because you can only visit one site from a distance because of the radioactivity still in the ground, and the other two sites being off limits except for tours, this is the place to go. The first floor is set up with interactive displays. The museum is extensive and the staff are highly knowledgeable. We got a history lesson right when we walked in, pretty much a rundown of the entire history. There were a lot of displays and a few artifacts, but the place is loaded with information. Well worth the trip and the fee is low. And you don't just learn about the Manhattan Project, the other half of the museum is dedicated to energy and electricity and how it all works. Great for children and adults alike.

This is a great museum, it has three parts. One section covers the current activities of the Oak Ridge national laboratory. The second covers the wartime use of the facility. Last but not least is an exhibit about science and technology with a focus on energy. The energy section is a little outdated and some exhibits are are broken, but it covers the basics pretty well. My wife and I spent several hours there but children wouldn't appreciate the wartime history as much, but would enjoy the science and energy section.

It's very inexpensive and offers tons more than the price of admission.

Great and interesting museum! I love this place and all the exhibits are great. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Take a chance to head out there and check these guys out!
