I researched microblading for a year prior to finding Kim Richards, Owner of Beauty Redefinded and I can say she has changed my life with the awesome procedure she did with my brows...As I get older my brows were extremely sparse and filling in with a pencil was not an option due to the look of drawn on lines....too noticeable......My procedure was done 3 weeks ago and I could not be more happy...Kim is an expert in this field and her work is exceptional....Be patient for two weeks to let the microblading heel, follow aftercare instructions and you will be happy with the outcome.....

Long review...but it's important. I became Kim's client in July of 2016 when she microbladed my now fabulous eyebrows. I had researched (do your homework ladies!!!) microblading and had narrowed my choice of artist by checking out Beauty Redefined's website and Facebook page, reading reviews, and looking closely at her pictures. (Beware of artists who steal other artist's photos and claim them as their own...you need both reviews and photos!) It was quite a drive for me to Oak Ridge, but we are talking about my face...a very serious tattoo in which bad results can be devastating. It was worth the drive. I'm thrilled with my brows and the ease of getting ready in the morning with fab brows every single day. She also accommodated my sudden emergency schedule change, which was greatly appreciated.
I would highly recommend Kim as your PMU artist, as well as Brittnie. I've been around the salon enough to see that between the two of them, they are great at a variety of things, from hair to PMU to advice about skin concerns, tattoo removal, areola tattooing after breast cancer, Botox, and on goes the list. They have committed countless hours training to be good at helping you look your best, and it shows in the work they do.
As she worked, we began talking about my "next career." By August, I became a student in her PMU class followed by a microblading class. I've made multiple trips to grow and learn as an artist. She is super patient and will answer all questions, help continually, and give feedback as you practice. She takes only a few students per class, so I got plenty of attention, which is a necessity because it is such a meticulous form of art that has to be done with great care and patience. Each movement of the hand piece or stroke of the microblading tool matters! Her sweetly stated constructive comments are much appreciated as she works tirelessly to help you achieve your goal of becoming a great artist like she is!
Kim Richards performed microblading on my eyebrows in Jan 2017. She was professional, knowledgeable, and meticulous. It has been just over 2 months, and I only wish I saw her sooner. There are others in the greater Knoxville area who claim to do microblading, but be cautious because none have her level of training or expertise (remember this is a tattoo on your face!). She made my brows perfectly shaped without looking drawn on. I have referred several friends to her. I have not even required a touch up!
