Food was good. I liked it immensely. Just a few things which did not make it to a 5 star. The turkey gravy was too salty. The waitresses were to fast to clear out plates They took my husband's plate away and he was not even finished and would try to refill his unsweetened tea when it still was full, and when it was empty, they were not around to fill it, I had to wave to them more than once. He asked for a fill up and it took 20 minutes before coming back and at the end the waitress was snappy. And at the end they brought our fortune cookies (sign that it is time to leave but we were not ready to leave yet, we still had food in our mouths , it's was a Christmas meal and we did not want to be rushed).
Most of the food was excellent. Service was a bit TOO active, as they tried to clear plates I was not done with and refresh my self-sweetened drink way too often. Potato salad was too sweet but who rates a Chinese restaurant on its potato salad? Very busy, very crowded, on Christmas day. Men's room was dark and cold, had a heater set for 39F.
I am a big fan of sushi and this place has one of the larger selections in the east TN area. they also have fried fish of generous proportions on the buffet. the cost is fair and the price difference between lunch and dinner is only a couple of bucks. this place usually has a lot of customers, this tells me the place is popular. I have no complaints about the food that is made available to me. plenty of seating, I have always felt comfortable here. I recommend this place .
But overall the food was good. The service not so.
Oh and forget about a selection of ice cream. They only had soft vanilla, soft chocolate and soft twist coming out of a machine.the chocolate was watery and there was no other choices. There were still a lot to of choices for pastries though.
This place is wonderful. The food is amazing and the building is clean. The always have a large selection of food. The staff is nice and always keeps up with drinks. The menu is inexpensive as well. This place is worth a vist.
A true gem!!! This buffet was CLEAN! Both inside and out! The food was fresh and turned over even at 8 pm! There was always someone checking to keep it that way! The service was top of the line! Our drinks were kept freshh and my hot tea came in a beautiful teapot! We will come back and visit often! Best Chinese buffet this side of Nashville!
