They didn't tell me the entire bill was due upfront until they told me I missed a payment, which I never knew I had to make. Also, when I told them I couldn't afford that monthly payment, the lady's advice was to sign up for TNCare... Embarrassing considering my husband and I both have great jobs and we make entirely too much to even be considered for that. Ridiculous.
I have been here twice, and was disappointed with each visit. Dr. Sances spent less than five minutes with me at each visit. I felt like my concerns were dismissed, and although I tried to explain my symptoms and concerns, it seemed as if she was blowing me off. I had heard bad things about this office but gave it a chance regardless; never again. I'd rather drive an hour to my previous Dr than to drive twenty minutes just to feel like I'm an inconvenience.
Sorry place told my daughter they was canceling her scheduled c section because her delivery charge was not paid up front and even Metcalf said she was high risk and her uterus was about to rupture but they wouldn't do the surgery because of the money. Ann the office manager even led my daughter out of the office and told her not to even come back to oak ridge hospital. All they worry about is the money and not the patient. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody just go ahead and go to ut I brought my daughter up to ut the next day and she was already dilated to 6 and they rushed her back and did a c section
Had a wonderful experience with this group of doctors. Metcalf is my preferred choice for routine checkups. He makes you feel as comfortable as possible. My son surprised us 1 month early and the delivery doctor, Sances,talked me through my natural, intimidating, birth. The hospital staff was amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
