Got to the hotel and everything seemed ok when checking in. Got up to my room and the keys wouldn’t work and the door wouldn’t open. After having the front desk person come up and manually open the room with a key, we were told that someone will have to stay in the room to open the door or leave it cracked. Then we got inside and started looking around and turning lights on all but 2 lights had no lightbulbs in them. Red flag number 2. Then after going into the bathroom the toilet was running and then after using the bathroom the toilet wouldn’t flush. After that we grabbed our belongings and went back to the front desk and asked for a refund. The only thing pleasant about this experience was the check in and refund. Nothing else about this place is even worth staying there WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND
Non smoking Rooms smell like smoke, found roach bugs and bed bug. Will never use Day's Inn Oakridge again.
Can I give less than 1 star? This is my second day here. 1st night, our room, bathroom in particular, was FILTHY. I had to go to Wal-Mart and buy bleach. Hair everywhere on everything. Dirty bandaid on the dresser, killed a cockroach, tv wasnt working. Next morning in convinced the sheets weren't even changed so I requested they be changed when housekeeping comes. Come back late that night to a nicely made bed.... with the same sheets.! Then, for a second night in a row, I'm complaining to the manager and ask for clean sheets. I'll change them myself. He brings them about 30 min later. Open the sheets to get 3 fitted queen size sheets. It's a king bed. Then my husband asks for king sheets and a woman that works in housekeeping told him to just stop talking and walks away with an attitude. She was loud enough outside, I went out to see what's going on and that's what I heard. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I'm so over this place and will be staying the rest of my vacation across the street.
They need to update the pictures because evidently they have gone through a renovation and the room I had looked nothing like what I had seen online.
I would recommend this hotel, and I will use it again if I make another trip to Oak Ridge.
Very nasty and lots of drug heads walking around I didn’t feel safe at all
After reading some of the reviews on this hotel, I was apprehensive about my stay. However, I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of my room. It was huge and everything worked and the bed was very comfortable.
