One of the true jems of Oak Ridge. Certainly right up there with Big Ed's. Excellent food, service and the owners are great people. If you're in the area and in the mood for Mexican, El Cantarito has no equal. Try it, you'll love it!
The venue is more of a pub atmosphere. For Oak Ridge, Tennessee this is good texmex restaurant based on competition in the area. Fair prices for the most part. Would probably pay more for better quality food and beverage if available. Many items seemed like they were served straight from a can without much processing.
Excellent food, quality and portion wise. Good sevice, when the place isn't fatally packed.
The food is good but the waiters are so bad that most of the time if you ask them for something they will simply turn around and walk away without even justifying it with a response. You then will have to either get it yourself, or ask someone else, because you may not see your waiter again during your entire visit. We have eaten here quite a few times and this has been our experience almost every time.
This is a good place for Mexican food! The food here is tasty and it fills you up nicely! The service was awesome. If you want good service ask for Victor and he will treat you right! We are talking great food, great service and also a great price!
