The food was okay. After being away for years, we were sad to see our favorite Mexican places gone and thought we'd try this place. The service was good and the bathrooms were clean. My carnitas were some of the least impressive I have had. I wouldn't send anyone there and don't plan to return, but maybe they were just having an off day.
At first blush, the menu seems to be par for the course fit a Mexican restaurant. All the staples are there. Where it really shines though is in the flavor. All the dishes we ordered were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The near was tender. Their salsa is smooth and flavorful. Absolutely recommend eating here again.
Good and accommodating. We've been a few times with large groups, and the staff dealt with us expeditiously and well. Food is good to better Tex Mex, have well enjoyed most meals, one was OK but the place was slammed that night.
Always a GoTo in Oak Ridge.
Fast, cheap, good Mexican food. It's the only Mexican restaurant we go to in town. It has a great menu selection and the veggie quesadilla is my favorite. Happy hour sun-thurs from 2 to 8, I can get 99 cent draft beer and 1.99 margaritas, can't beat that. Quick service and it doesn't take long to get your food but you have all you can eat chip and salsa while you wait. The portions are big too! There is an outdoor smoking patio in back that you can sit and eat and/or drink at. The people that work there have been there a long time and are awesome. They've even let me stay and have one more drink while they were cleaning up one night when I got off work late and wanted to eat there. I only got a bad order once and they made it right. It is a family restaurant and usually plenty of families with kids in there so we usually choose to sit out back where it is quiet or get take out cause it is usually pretty loud in the restaurant. That's really the only problem I have with it but it's easily fixed with to go order or outside eating
Wow! Not your typical beef, chicken, rice, bean, cheese, menu. I asked the waiter to recommend something and he mentioned the special; fantastic! It has chicken, squash, zucchini, sauce and more. Flan was great too.
